·   1881: Our Story Begins

The predecessor of KMA, "Aktienmaschinenfabrik Kyffhauserhutte", was founded in Alten, Germany. Since its establishment, the company has been dedicated to separation technology and has remained consistent in this field for over a hundred years, constantly delving into it.

·   1895: Pioneering Dairy Innovation

We were the first to bring centrifugal technology to the dairy industry. We built the first production facility for milk skimming centrifuges, solving the inefficiency issues of traditional milk processing. In the decades that followed, we upgraded our brand from "AKRA" to "KHA”, kept refining the precision and adaptability of our centrifugal equipment.

Instead of limiting ourselves to one sector, we invested fully in R&D, building a diverse portfolio of separation equipment for multiple industries.

·   Post-Reunification: Evolving into a Solutions Provider

After Germany’s reunification, KMA fully inherited 100+ years of centrifugal technology, process data, and customer insights. In 2011, we took a major step forward. We evolved from an equipment manufacturer to a separation solution provider. We added process optimization and engineering services to our offerings, making our technology more tailored to customers’ production needs.

·   2024: Expanding to China & Asia-Pacific

We partnered with Shanghai Triowin to establish KMA Global GmbH. We also set up a dedicated R&D and manufacturing center in China—turning our 144 years of technical expertise into localized solutions. For customers in China and the Asia-Pacific, this means dual benefits of high-efficiency separation technology and localized service support.
